Urgently require a PROCESS ENGINEER for an automotive manufacturing facility in Basildon where you will support the Launch Engineers with continuous improvement initiatives. Working in a World Class Automotive manufacturing facility, you will be involved driving through Quality and Reliability improvements to the materials and manufacturing teams. If you are available immediately and have 2 - 3 years experience in process improvement or manufacturing engineering role and are very keen to develop your experience, this could be the role for you!
Outline of duties for the Manufacturing Process Engineers are:
Working with the assembly and finishing teams and driving Quality and Reliability of product, by analysing current and improving methods
Build rapport with the manufacturing teams through all stages of change
Ensuring the Design For Manufacture ethics are understood by the end
Manage all engineering changes
Ensure introduction of new design changes into the production line respecting safety, legislation & World Class Manufacturing Techniques and best practices.
Software generation and control of manufacturing processes such as Pick-to-Light
2 years+ experience within process engineering/ manufacture
WCM - World Class Manufacturing Techniques
Knowledge of introducing new techniques and methods
It would be highly advantageous to have experience within Vehicle assembly and new product launches
Computer literate
6 Sigma Green Belt would be ideal
Hourly pay rate ??good either PAYE + 33 days holiday OR Limited company available
OCCASIONAL weekend work
Flexible - can do attitude
37.5 hour week

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
