The objective is to provide graphic support and creative guidance to the Lower Thames Crossing programme, producing graphics, documents, and presentations to a high standard, whilst ensuring National Highways' brand requirements are adhered to across the programme.
Your key responsibilities will be:
To work with various internal stakeholders to create and maintain a suite of digital and printed templates that can be used and customized by staff across the Programme.
These will include thematic, subject specific and general power point slide templates, technical documents and 'glossy' brochures, guides, forms, marketing and event materials, banners, posters, and flyers.
Working with the Programme Digital Team to create and maintain a Programme brand hub for staff to be able to access customizable templates and assets - ensuring brand guidance, and the suite of templates and supporting assets is available at all times and updated regularly.
Managing the production of bespoke presentations and documents for the senior leadership team and key Programme activities, ensuring all work produced is of a high standard, tailored to the audience and activity, and follows the Programme's branding style.
Provide weekly / monthly support to in-programme events, including in-person presentations, Teams broadcast and meetings, and email communications.
Create engaging, motion led graphics for social media, to support the Programme's external affairs activity and campaigns including gifs and short animations.
Act as National Highways' and the Programme's brand guardian - working with National Highways creative team, the Lower Thames Crossing Integrated Client Team, Delivery Partners, and supply chain, to ensure the brand guidelines are understood and followed.
Lead on activities including 1 to 1 training, workshops, reviews and feedback sessions, and monthly audits and reports.
Exploring new creative ideas and opportunities, whilst ensuring that all external and internal marketing collateral reflects the firm's brand attributes and conveys its image and message in a professional manner.
Support the External Affairs Team with other activities on an ad hoc basis, particularly in relation to Internal Communications, when a team effort is required.

Expert skills in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Previous experience of providing graphic design support in a diverse and high-profile organisation Strong presentation skills with excellent knowledge of design and typography Interpreting briefs and requirements into effective, branded outputs, often within tight timescales.
Examples of exercising sound judgement, leading and facilitating decision making on complex issues among multiple parties Experience of understanding and applying an established design process and standards.
Experience of designing presentations, brochures, leaflets, booklets, roller banners from conception through to output.
Excellent communicator, who has the ability to translate ideas into practice and with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders To influence all levels in an organisation to produce timely documents etc.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and personal resilience to working to strict timelines/different styles of leadership.
